Chronograph movements don't come cheap. For a brand to develop their own requires years of research and testing, and bringing in ebauche movements can still be pricy. Tissot has the distinct advantage of being a member of the Swatch Group and more than any other brand in the group it develops movements along with powerhouse producer ETA. Combined with volume production, this has enabled Tissot to release the new PRC 200, a Swiss automatic chronograph for under $1,000. 2 OF 20 Dial Details On The PRC 200 Looking at the PRC 200 you'll see you get what amounts to a pretty bread-and-butter chronograph. There is a date window at 3 o'clock, a 6 hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, running seconds at 9 o'clock, and the 30 minutes counter at 12 o'clock. I had a bit of a rant in the Longines forum about a Grand Vitesse that is on sale at 40% off - it's a great deal on a great watch, but I'm passing on it as I need to save more money for the big trip in October where hopefully I will come back with a new watch....(as evidenced by my earlier thread in the GDF about suggestions for a new watch).Well, glutton for punishment that I am, I couldn't resist going back to the store today, only to find they are also discounting TAGs as well - up to 40% on some models (a really nice auto Aquaracer - the one that Dennis likes the bezel). Unfortuately the Carrera is only 25% off, so I'm not tortured by walking away from it, but man, there were some nice TAGs at good discounts .The sales assistant revealed in the conversation that they are clearing out their TAGs and replacing them with a new brand "equal or better than TAG" but didn't know, or wouldn't say, what that brand will be.very mysterious.This leads me to wonder if this is part of TAGs strat

Back to 44mm from 42mm and couldn't be happier.
I traded my 392 ¨C even though it's the better size for my smaller wrist, it just didn't feel right. I've had my eye on a 233 for a while ¨C the slimmer case is so comfortable and the dome crystal is just stunning. And even though there's far more going on than the 392 it still looks clean and tidy (to my eyes anyway).I am absolutely delighted with this watch:
