- it is beautiful to look at,however diffcult to chnage bands as well as to determine the time. the clock on the watch is fairly ,the hummingbird takes up the majority of the watch face. That is why I returned this item.

This is undoubtedly old news, so please forgive me up front for dwelling on it.But I'd appreciate help in walking through the transition(s) from the Submariner Date modesl 1680 to 16610. These are the Submariner Date pieces, but is the 16800 the only model in between?Questions:1. Have I left out any models?2. Years of production for each?3. Differences in crystals?4. Differences in dials?5. Differences in hands?6. Differences in luminous material used (date changed)?7. Differences in markings on the dial (eg, color, depth ratings, order of ratings)?8. Which did not exclusively have through lug holds?Thanks. And I'll probably be back to dialogue on this (if you'll patiently indulge me).

Even Better Than Anticipated: Titan TT1
My first ever (and like new) Oris Titan TT1 - 44mm arrived today, and I am absolutely blown away by this watch! I'm always nervous about getting a timepiece on the internet because you just never know how it will look on your wrist. In this case, my hopes and expectations have been surpassed. This item will definitely see some wrist time. If you're reading this and have never considered this brand, you owe it to yourself to check out the quality and design. I will go out on a limb and say that initially, it "feels" and "presents" as good or better than any Rolex or Omega I've ever owned, past or present. I'm not a photographer and don't have high dollar equipment (because I spend the extra funds on watches), but following are some shots of the watch taken with a few of my favorite things - my car and my pond. Hope you enjoy them.

My first solid gold watch...
Well, it looks like I just pushed my Limes way further into the future, but this was love at first site. This will be my mintiest vintage yet. Seller description and pics for now; with almost 3000 sales and a rating of 99.9%, I keep my fingers crossed!Presented is a very nice example of the solid 14K yellow gold circa 1940's Hamilton "Gilbert" model with a great classically styled case, very nice dial and high grade freshly cleaned movement. The case, which I feel is pretty nice, particularly considering it's a 60+ year old watch, features a neat pseudo hinged lug look and the profile is nice and thin, making for a terrific looking dress watch. It measures 35mm long by 21 1/2mm wide, not including the crown and is marked on the inside "Gilbert Hamilton Watch Company Lancaster Pa. Wadsworth 14K Gold" and "W 14K Gold" on the outside. Unpersonalized! The brushed silver dial has been recently restored back to its original condition and features raised and applied gold numbers and a sub sec

I find this OMEGA on a garage sale 25$ I never see this model I have many LONGINES and OMEGA but this one looks something special is probably from the 30s with movement OMEGA from the 1915 1920 .If you can help me about this model with second at 9h. nothing marking on the case and movement just the dial,so can be for military ? is from ITALIAN family I get this vey interesting OMEGA watch.LET ME KNOW THANKS

Help with first Patek
I'm in the process of deciding which model I should purchase as my first PP so thought I'd ask you all some questions. My current collection is very small as I didn't buy my second nice watch (Omega GSOTM) and get hooked until last year. I have a Rolex 16610 Sub, Omega GSOTM, and a Rolex 5330 (which was a mistake. It's too small but pretty). My wrist is 7-1/3 to just shy of 7.5 when fully swollen. I like all precious metals and even SS so that isn't really an issue. I don't travel often enough to justify having a GMT function this early in my collection either unless a heck of a deal pops up. So, it basically boils down to either a Calatrava or a 5167/1a and I'm really leaning towards the latter. I rarely wear a suit but do dress more towards business casual most of the time. Nice slacks, handmade shoes, and a button down shirt is pretty normal just rarely wear a jacket. So, even a Calatrava would need to be more of a daily wearer type watch which I think most can certainly be!With my
