I received this watch (blue face) as a gift from my wife. It is absolutely beautiful. The blue does look purple in certain lighting. The 24-hour subdial is ideal for travel as it can be set for a second time zone.

Met Vandice in Singapore
I met up with Vandice for coffee in Suntec City Singapore and had a great time. He was gracious to show me his collection of interesting watches. I had chance to examine his Seiko Spirit GMT SBQJ015 up close. It look so much better then any picture I've seen so far. But the most stunning piece in his collection is the Grand Seiko SBGT021. The watch is so gorgeous, especially the markers that reflect a spectrum of rainbow colors at different angles. Very very cool watch.Thx bro for showing your cool collection.

Anyone have some new Omega PO 8500 and 2500 comparison shots of the case, etc?
Had a 45.5 mm PO and loves the thickness of the case. Fit very well on my 7 inch wrists. I am looking to buy a 42mm 8500 PO quite soon, but I never actually held the watch in person or have even seen it in person.The closest dealer to me is about 2 and a half hours from me and I just have not had the time to reach out to them yet. (Omega Boutique).Now I am hearing that the new 8500 has a thicker case profile, which I can spot immediately in pictures. But how much thicker? Any comparison shots would be outstandingly appreciated!

How about an Aquanaut?
How about an Aquanaut 5167 A or a 5164 A for a OWG? How practical is this watch compared to a steel Rolex? Lifestyle consists of Office work/ construction sites, beach/pool, traveling, gym and other semi active activities. I don't think I beat my watches to the point of only a gshock could handle me but I don't baby them either. I just want a watch that has a low profile, rugged, efficient that I could use it all the time, no limitations. Note: I considered the 5711 but I've come to realize I prefer rubber. Thanks!
