Tested the accuracy of my new Tissot PRC 200 along with several other watches.
I'm not a seconds accuracy freak. If my watch is within a minute or so I'm fine. But, I wanted to test the accuracy and power reserve of the Powermatic 80 in my new Tissot PRC 200. After 24 hours, I'd thought I'd look at the accuracy of it, with several other watches I grabbed.Unscientific test of accuracy. Each watch was placed face up and allowed to run for 24 hours. I set them to the clock in OS 10.9 which is automatically updated. Here's the watches I picked:?The Tissot PRC 200 with the Powermatic 80 movement. As the picture shows, it is near perfect.?Next, the Tissot Luxury Automatic with the Powermatic 80 movement, once again. * It looks to be 4 seconds slow.?Third is the Deep Blue Fleet Admiral wit the Miyota 9100 movement. It is 5 seconds slow.?Fourth is the Orient Star Retrograde with the40A50 caliber 22 jewel movement:?Next, mid 60s Longines with a 17 jewel movement serviced this year. It looks to be about 11 seconds slow.?Lord Elgin with 760 automatic movement, service
