Quartz vs Mechanical
I am sorry but I just had a realization. I have been buying mechanical watches since January in an attempt to make myself like them. I don't like them at all. I miss quartz watches. I don't even like analog, never have. I like quartz digital with lots of geeky stuff. I am going to try and unload my mechanical watches soon and buy a PAW1500T-7V Titan. I just wonder why I can't 'love' my mechanicals? Anyone else feel this way? It just hit me and I needed to share. Just paid off my Mastercard today, too, dang!

Problem with Aqua Terra Chrono
Guys/Gals,I'm a little puzzled....my husband just got an Aqua Terra Chronograph this past Thursday. When I set it for him that evening I gave it a full wind (since I'm most familiar with Rolex I completed 40 turns of the crown).He wore it all day on Friday (about 10hrs) and let it rest on our bathroom counter overnight. It was fine on Saturday and he wore it again for about 9-10hrs. The watch stopped just before 5am on Sunday morning... I thought this was strange. Anyway, I reset it and even put it on my winder for a couple of hours....it was fine and he wore it for most of Sunday. Again, he left it on the bathroom counter overnight....Today he put the watch on around 11am and it stopped at 2:35pm.I really don't have any experience with Omega as this is the first but I'm concerned. Could the reserve be so short? Could something be wrong with the watch?I should mention that we picked it up at Macy's for over 60% off as they were having a HUGE clearance event. Don't have a box or warrant

Thoughts on the P2004?
Over the last 5 years I've had two different 311's. I loved that model. I must have right, I bought two. But the same issue made me sell them both. Reliability! Both of them had several service issues that upset me. You can see very detail posts over at Paneristi using the same handle as I have here. I was just wondering what others people thoughts and experiences were with the P2004 plus its variants. My issues currently, I love the seconds reset feature, titanium weight is huge for me plus the 12 hour GMT. I was considering the 233 but I really didn't want a ss model as I have a AP 15710 diver and missed my Panerai's but wanted something lighter. The domed crystal is a non factor for me as I like it a lot but when I had a 351 the way that looked in certain lighting the two types were a wash in terms of likability. Panerai 422
I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a 422, but I am not an expert on this particular model. As a watch lover, a know a little bit about a lot of watches but I can certainly use some additional information on this one. It's a pre-owned example, in outstanding shape. It looks new. Both OEM straps are brand new and they have never been used, the previous owner used the watch on a custom strap.It has triple boxes, paperwork from AD dated 11-2012, the brown leather and black rubber strap, plus the tool. I've always had an itch for Panerai but I was never willing to spend big bucks on a watch with a Unitas movement. This one, being in house, ticks the right boxes. Plus I think it's gorgeous. It was pretty much love at first sight, even though it looks ridiculous on my puny wrist. Any advice or anything I should know about this? Reliability? Desirability? Will I get killed if I want to unload it down the road?Service costs?I believe the price is right, actually below anything I've seen on
