- I was more impressed with this watch when it arrived than I expected to be. The watch face is larger than it appeared in the picture, but I think that made it better. It is bold but not chunky. It has a classic look and wears well with a blue jean outfit or can look very dressy. I love it and plan on finding an opportunity to buy another for a gift.

Vacheron Constantin 31039/000J-3 wrist watches news:
So this has been a dream watch of mine for some time. It's a Japan-only Seiko that is only available through a few websites. Going rate is about $375 to $400 plus shipping. I FINALLY managed to pick one up used for $285 shipped from another forum! There she is!! Specs from one of the sites where it's available:SEIKO SPIRIT * Ref: SCVS001 * Listed price: 39,900JPY * Made in Japan!! * Case Bracelet: SS * Dial: white * Crystal: Sapphire * See-through back: Hardlex * Diameter: 37 mm (without the crown) * Thickness: 11.2 mm * Weight: 134g * Movement: 6R15 23J Automatic (with Hand winding and Hack function) * Accuracy: +25/-15 sec/day * Power reserve: 50 Hour * 10 ATM water resistance * Instruction, worldwide one year warranty and Seiko original boxSo far it's almost spot on for accuracy - lost 1 second in the past 2 days. I measured it with my digital caliper and it's actually just over 38mm - not 37mm like those specs show. The dial is also

Potentially dangerous work for watches today, lots of chances for scratches. Got to go with the workhorse. Forgive the terrible, terrible photo.
Hi, I bought a pre owned AP ROC (25860) from an AD few months ago. I didn't receive any papers abt it's service history, so I assume it's not been serviced yet. The watch loses more time than I expected - ~22 seconds per day. Is it normal? The watch also stopped running once when I had been wearing it everyday.AD did provide some warranty at the time of purchase. If I send it back to them, do they service it themselves or do they send the watch to AP (which I would prefer)?
After months of searching for the right ROC and then months of waiting after choosing it, I finally got the call that it's been overnighted!!! It's my first AP and I couldn't be more excited. The wait has been excruciating. Hopefully this isn't just a good dream, and hopefully come tomorrow I'll be unpacking it and posting some pics. Thanks for the input along the way on which ROC to go with.
