- It is a nice watch. It fits well, it is cute, it is metal and not plastic so it is durable. The flag decoration does not wear off, I have had one for over a year and I wear it frequently.

Vacheron Constantin 83080/000G-9408 wrist watches news:
Hello all - My Grandmother recently passed away and while cleaning out her place we came across a few time pieces. Along w/ a few Hamilton pocket watches, we found my Grandfather's Omega. The only stamp on the back is "10k gold filled"Tough to find any information on this one...any help/info is greatly appreciated. Please excuse the iPhone camerawork...Thanks so muchIMG_0267.jpgIMG_0270.jpg
Hello everyone,I just joined this forum and wanted to introduce myself as well as tell my watch story (what got me interested in watches). I'm also including pictures of my Omega's. So, here goes...When I was 19 years old, I got a stainless steel Rolex DateJust from my Uncle as a Christmas present. It had a white dial with very fine roman numerals (I almost never see this dial, as most have fat/thick roman numerals). He had a Presidential, and explained to me what a Rolex was and why he got me one for Christmas - - - his father, when my uncle was 18, got him a stainless steel watch with a white dial (a Hamilton I believe), and so he did the same to me. He didn't have kids, so I was his nephew and "sorta son"He also gave me another present...a fake Rolex he got in Mexico, so I could tell the difference (gold tone). Anyway, I didn't at the time know anything about watches, but I grew to cherish that Rolex watch for sentimental reasons. I literally never, ever took that watch off.F
Can't get enough of Rolexes new ads...
Just received a brown Nighthawk and noticed something unusual. As the second hand moves across the face, it hits the marks beginning from the 15 minute mark then begins to miss the marks at about the 43 minute mark. At the worst, which is about 57 minutes, it hits right between the marks. Then the hand begins to get closer to the marks and is right on again at 15.Is this as good as it gets with Citizen? Am I expecting to much?
From europastar.com:March 28, 2008 By Keith W. Strandberg You would think that a watch manufacturer in the middle of China would be a world away from Switzerland. In some ways it certainly is, but at the basic level of making watches, things are not that much different. Parts still have to be made or sourced, movements have to be as-sembled and cased, straps and bracelets have to be put onto the watch and the timepieces have to go into boxes to be transported to clients. It is not rocket science and the Chinese are starting to get good at it.Thanks to Genender International and one of their clients NakedWatch, Europa Star got an exclusive tour of a Chinese watch manufacture. The exterior of the Chinese watch factory, incoming quality control, quartz and mechanical assembly, the design departement of the factory, the storage of all the parts that go into the watches, water resistance testing Lowest cost migrates Lowest cost production moves in phases. For watches, lowest cost quartz watch
