I bought this on the bay on Saturday and it arrived already today.This was the kind of watch that you just have a good feeling about. A few dark, poorly taken pictures, that when viewed in PS showed no visible wear, a brief simple description, but enough details to identify the watch. A non regular watch seller that would not cause too much notice.The watch arrived this morning US mail.And Wow, way beyond my expectations. The watch is like new. Would you buy a 5970p without papers?
I checked that watch is not stolen but papers were misplaced by original owner.I know I can get archive papers next year (after 5 years) but would you buy one without papers - assuming there is a $10-$15k discount on the price (from what a normal complete PP 5970p would cost).watch is still in original seal from Patek....thanks in advance!

Sea Dweller randomly stopped running... then was fine...?
Something odd happened tonight.I was getting dressed for the evening and I when I looked at my watch at around 6:18 it was still at 6, almost like my minute hand stopped but the second hand was still running.When I looked at the watch it was at 6 and it clearly wasn¡¯t stuck, it advanced to 6:01 as I watched it. I¡¯ve been wearing it all day so I don¡¯t see how it wouldn¡¯t have been wound, but that¡¯s the only answer, right? That the reserve ran out?It¡¯s a 1999 sea dweller that I got back last week from a service when it was corrected from running almost +15s a day down to +3 a day. It¡¯s been running good and keeping great time since. Anyone have any thoughts? Should I just not worry about it?
