New watch in da House.
I just wanted to share with you guy's my new Citizen eco-drive world timer. I decided to get this in stead of the Swiss Army because I've wanted a world timer in this set up. I do own a Wenger world timer but it was difficult to read other time zones. With this Citizen all the timezones are displayed at a glance instead of having to turn a crown in order to read the other timezones. The first six weeks with my 5205G………This is the first review of a watch that I have ever done, so please bear with me, especially if the construction of it , is not quite in sync!As most of the regular members will know, and probably frustrated after, I have been in love with this piece, especially with the darker coloured (grey) dial from the moment that I first saw the photos that came out from Basel 2010. So much so that when I saw a dummy model at my AD the following month, I asked them to let me know, when the first one came in. In the meantime, not having the cash available for such a purchase, I went about doing some “Wheeling & Dealing” of my small collection, which included my FP Journe Black Label Calendrier, which to a degree I still very much regret selling. 16600: 10 Year Retirement Anniversary
Can¡¯t believe it¡¯s been 10 years since the SEA-DWELLER 16600 was retired and the DEEP-SEA made its debut.If I remember correctly 16600 was retired with a price of USD $6200 and DSSD debuted at USD $8000.I¡¯ve been lucky to have my Z series since 2011 after finding it NOS in a tiny AD, and although I love seeing the new releases every year, I¡¯m happy having this one as my everyday watch. The only Rolex that still hunts me (although not enough to pay today¡¯s crazy prices) is the GMT-MASTER II 16710 as it¡¯s a bit more comfortable and the GMT feature is awesome.
