I am on business trip now but can always take time to take a lot of photos of my new diver, on the plane, at my hotel. Just want to share, as well as enable any fence sitters still doubting to buy the Diver. So Enjoy! My AP logo aligned perfectly with my watch! All pics taken with my Samsung Galaxy Note. Too lazy to lug with tripod and DSLR when travelling.
Apologies if this is already covered elsewhere, but as a PP newbie, I am wondering whether forum members actually do have their prized watches serviced as often as recommended, and what percentage have them serviced by PP.I ask this as a Rolex wearer who has been regularly wearing the same watch for close on 40 years, which been serviced once during that time and yet still keeps perfect time !I am considering the purchase of a factory sealed Grand Complication manufactured in 2007, for everyday wear. Will that theoretically need a service before it is worn and (leaving aside maintaining value) does it justify a PP service given that it should be in perfect mechanical condition ?If anyone has a recommendation for a reliable watchmaker in London, who is up to servicing complicated PP watches, a recommendation would also be appreciated (by PM if appropriate ?).
I've always liked Panerai but have never owned one. Which would be a good first one? I do like the white as it is a little different. The 1499 has really jumped out at me! Does Panerai lose value? They seem to be selling at quite a discount from retail. Thoughts would be appreciated!!
Ok, so we had the thread yesterday asking what you were planning on wearing so now let¡¯s see what you¡¯re actually wearing. On a thoroughly miserable afternoon in Singapore, it¡¯s 116622 for me. I wish you all a wonderful New Year with health and prosperity by the truckload
