Chopard 16/8992/4 wrist watches news:
Here is a little contest for ya!My YM is off to the Spa for some TLC after something "malfunctioned" in the movement when I was changing the date/time the other night. What is your best guess as to how long it will be at RSC NY for warranty work. It will arrive there today. The person closest to the return date will receive a little Rolex trinket from me, just for fun! Thanks for playin'
I've spent many pleasurable hours underwater. Mostly in the Carribean. I often wished for a compass underwater. Why not have a compass built into the dive watch? Casio alrady has G shock watches with compasses built in. Why not a dive watch using that technology. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.Art
I am looking at some Panerai's, Rolex Seadweller, submariner, etc. IWC is on the radar too. I am not married to one particular brand. This will be my first higher end watch purchase. I am in love with the new Rolex GMT Master II, and could splurge for the additional cost but I also don't want to come across as a rolex snob at the same time.Suggestions, thoughts?
Has anyone bought the Seamaster olympic version? I would like to see some wrist shots if you have them.I really would like a white faced watch and the only real option (for a LONG time) is the Rolex Exp II which costs about $6800 here in Canada. I always found it a tad bit small and the Seamaster line to be just right. When I spoke to my AD he said that alot of people like the olympic version but dislike the red besel and olympic symbol on the second hand which apparently both can be changed.Let me know.
How would you answer if someone who doesn't know much about Patek or watches in general askWhy does it cost so much?
