- Love this watch. Its a nice substantial piece, but not to heavy. I got the gold and it is gorgeous. Love that is has an extender piece. Really catches the light. I am going to buy the silver. This is a keeper!

- A really nicely built, rugged, and handsome watch but I find the compass is a little...uncertain. If that's a major consideration for you, you might want to buy the watch but carry a back-up compass.

Wyler Wyler 6452 wrist watches news:
Yesterday, I attended a very nice family wedding, which of course is not typically news for the blog, but this time there are a minor detail that sparked a worthwhile mention. The groom, who I had met for the first time on the day of the wedding, instantly impressed me, making me feel extra good about his entrance into the extended family. The reason for my quick fondness was the fact that he was wearing a rare watch that I owned as well. Of course, I could not dismiss his impeccable demeanor which might have also had something to do with my approval.Surely you are each aware of my rich capacity to continually discuss the German Marcello C. brand of watches. Having a few of these excellent timepieces, I realize that ownership of a Marcello C watch is a rare treat. There just aren't that many of them out there, and in the US you need to be actually looking for the watch to find it. So you can imagine how excited I was to see the groom wearing a shiny silver faced Marcello C. Nettuno 3 w
it is about 93%, it is an Automatic and looks like a Yachtmaster. Box, Papers everything. Does anyone know what they are getting on the market
Sure, one more Hamilton after this and I get to learn the secret handshake + I understand I get free Dairy Queen Blizzards for a year! Ok, so this a Boulton, cal 982
This field trip is to see a service start to finish. I have a few vintage watches that need a COA so I took them with me to Sam's shop on 7th & Sansom in Philadelphia. Sam, you're gonna be a star! Here he is at his workbench. I don't know if I'd recognize him anywhere else.We decided on my funky oval Bulova for the guinea pig. I found it NOS but not working so it needed a service and/or new part or two.First, the case back must come off:N9 - 1979....and I thought it was a few years older than that.At this time, the Solvil et Titus movement was Swiss, but now it's in Hong Kong. This particular movement is based on an ETA 2879 quick set day/date caliber. The rotor comes off:The bracelet comes off and the shock jewel is removed:All the parts get separated:The rest of the automatic winding system comes off:so what's left looks like this:Next, the balance & hairspring assembly with the balance bridge comes out:Found the broken part - top is the bad, bottom is the replacement.
