Zenith 18.2020.670/22.C498 wrist watches news:
Responding to AndrewB's recent thread on examining watches under consideration gave me an idea for a fun thread to see out Sunday evening. If you could check out five watches from your local AD or Omega Boutique, which would they be? They have to be either in the current catalog or items which may still be seen at an Omega BoutiqueThat's five - pretty good offer, don't you think especially since Dan BosKOE's paying, apparently ;)Here's mine -De Ville Co-Axial Rattrapante in silverSpeedmaster 50th Anniversary Co-Axial LEOmega Olympic Collection De Ville Co-Axial Chronograph, Rome 1960Aqua Terra Chronograph in blackDe Ville Co-Axial Chronometer LEPictures - omegawatchesDetails and further images of these watches may be seen in our Watch of The Day Archivesin the Omega Forum's Resource SectionIndeed you may make your selections by grabbing pictures from the resource section using the following links .info/forums/showthread.php?t=230.info/forums/showthread.php?t=233.info/forums/showthread.p
Looking at used automatic versions, Omega goes for ~$900, Oris around $500. Is the Omega worth the extra $$??
Just made a trade for this one - any experience with this brand? - needed an affortable dress watch - thought this one looked great - very thin - great quality - very small date for old eyes:)Can the mesh band be cut shorter?thanks pjh
I recieved #26 yesterday, and I'm in awe. I like the 38mm case (1.5 inches) becasue it fits my small 6.5" diameter wristI mean I ordered this watch from Thomas carey on 2-26-08, as the 26th watch in my collection, it arrived on 2-28-08!!!as with any new watch I'm wanting to show it off, and these pics are different from the ones I added into the WTF EL threadappears like a different watch in certain lighting conditions - I like this watch
After seeing beautiful pictures of the PO 8500 Ti I made a few phone calls to ADs today and found out that nobody has them yet, at least in the SF Bay Area. I haven't tried on a 45.5mm watch (biggest one I have is 42mm) so I went to an AD to see for myself. I love the size! I tried on this PO 8500 SS. Now I'm kinda torn between the two. The blue of the Ti version is simply stunning, at least in the pictures I've seen. On the other hand, the SS version is gorgeous too. For those who have seen both in person, which one do you like more and do you think the Ti version is worth the $2600 premium over the SS?
