I'm a big watch fan and really like Patek (along with Rolex, Breguet, JLC, and Panerai, owning some of those too).Patek and its history, watches, position, name, etc. in the watch world never cease to fascinate me, so I am glad to find a forum open to a newbie watch fan and collector.As a short intro, here are my current PPs. How limited are these watches?
Silly Question. I just bought the PAM297 GMT. On the back of the watch is N347/600. I am assuming that my watch is from the "N" series and that it's the 347th out of 600. So how does this watch differ from prior series and how truly limited is this watch? How many series do they plan for this watch?

Birthday present for girlfriend (Orient, Seiko, ?...)
Hello everyone,At the last minute, I decided to get my girlfriend a watch for her birthday. I tried to get a feel for her preferences, without giving away the surprise. She said, "I just buy whatever is cute and comfortable Accessories I like rose gold cause it looks good with my skin. White looks good with my skin too. Basically bright colors on accessories look good but I like pink a lot." However, I want to get an automatic, since she already has a quartz watch. The issue is that I need it by this weekend, so I'm limited to stores with expedient shipping. Are your Pam's accurate? mine aren't...
Been noticing some problems on my Pams, haven't yet been keeping exact track, started tonight though, but they clearly don't keep very good time, from what it seems to me, again I haven't yet kept a clear record yet, in 1 week they have more or less 1-2 minutes difference with the exact time, as for power reserve they are fine except for my 233, sometimes it's ok, sometimes in 3 hours 20-25% of the power reserve is gone after rewinding, then it seems to go away slower, and sometimes it works normally. I will keep a close watch on both power reserve and accuracy, and see how it goes, but for 3 new unworn watches from years 2000 and 2009 it's not very encouraging, especially knowing that I am very careful with them, never drop them or hit something…I found a graphic here which shows parameters for chronometer watches, clearly I am way out of of the acceptance… It seems to me that I am in typical for vintage mechanical watch, which for me my Pam's are clearly not vintage, but
