- I had this watch for about 6 mos. and used it for work as an RN. Its main drawback for me was that the watch face stuck up too high and got caught on things. The watch held up well but I just couldn't get used to its size.

Jaeger LeCoultre Q2568403 wrist watches news:
It literally makes zero sense from a marketing standpoint that Hawaiian surfer lifestyle watch brand Bathys Hawaii would suddenly work on developing an atomic clock wristwatch (what you see in this post is a working prototype). While a few others are currently in production, Bathys may have beat the rest in terms of actually releasing a working prototype of the world's first atomic clock powered wristwatch, and that is pretty cool. So yes, the upcoming Bathys Cesium 133 timepiece doesn't fit in with the theme of the brand, but it will be designed to "fit in". However, most people don't know that Bathys founder Dr. John Patterson was first and foremost a scientist. Now things begin to make sense a bit more sense.Bathys tracked the development of the atomic timekeeping chips that are novel, miniaturized versions of the much larger cesium-based atomic clocks developed in the 1950s. Patterson and engineer George Talbot have succeeded in producing the first watch natively accurate to one se

I just came out of a meeting with someone who was wearing their Speedmaster Pro on its stainless steel bracelet. It looked fantastic - very sexy. I also remember watching Apollo 13 with Tom Hanks (a great Speedmaster porn movie) and admiring all the Speedmasters on their metal bracelets. However, I have always preferred a leather strap on the Speedmaster. I am not a fan of the standard leather deployant model fitted by Omega on the Speedmaster (too bulky for my 6.5 wrist). My solution was to buy my Speedie Pro with the metal bracelet and then fit a traditional leather buckle black Omega strap in the Omega Boutique before I walked out with my new watch. It looks great and is a bit more vintage as well. Doing it this way was a little more expensive but I have the option of the stainless steel bracelet if I want it. Having seen the metal bracelet version today I'm tempted to go back to it.What do people here prefer - leather or metal ?
I see both of these on two different bracelets, the speedy and the other one (don't know what it's called). I was wondering how these came originally, were they available with a choice of bracelet or did people swap on the speedy after the fact, etc.?Also, please enlighten me with the name of the other bracelet. Thanks, guys.
Well here it is, the news we’ve all been waiting for, major update to blue dial 5711/1A, now matches the white version.
