- A beautiful watch but not for baby boomers because the dials are so reading glasses are needed to see them and to make adjustments. Otherwise a very handsome time piece. Its unique appearence sets it apart.

Zenith 03.2116.400/51.C700 wrist watches news:
Anyone know about these 44mm X-Copter ? A pic would be nice, Or all that you know, it could be a rumor Please comment or post pics.. :) I picked up this news from another forum. Thanks
One of my most exciting watch purchases: My new A. Lange 1 Moonphase in Platinum. The watch has the moon phase, power reserve, and outsized date complications. The 398 part 54 jewel German Silver movement is beautifully decorated. The case measures 39mm and weighs in at 142 grams. I also enjoy this particular moon phase. Many companies claim that their moon phase is accurate within 1 day per 122 years¡except that it only changes once or twice a day. So at any given time, it could be off by almost an entire day every day. Not with the Lange. The solid gold moon phase wheel is driven continuously from the hour wheel, so a clutch mechanism was required so that setting the moon phase would not affect the running of the watch. This resulted in an astounding 93 individual parts being devoted just to the moon phase mechanism. I also enjoy this Lange because it is powered by two barrels, giving it a 72 hour power reserve. The dial is ridiculously symmetrical (even though it may not
First off, I primarily wear a Rolex tool watch (only complication is a single date function) and some of you may recall that I started a Thread here noting that my wristwatch must do what I do. Period. But now I have a gentler soul headed my way: A vintage 2-dial chronograph that's only a couple of years younger than I am. Mind you, I have no intention of testing its water integrity, beyond the proverbial splash and such in washing my hands before meals. But I do plan on getting out and about w/ it for a week or so, which could include shoveling or blowing snow to clear our Michigan walkways here, and maybe some minor handyman stuff around the house.Any reactions to this? I've heard chronographs can be sensitive creatures, and I'd like to keep this one running well. Although I've decided to Post this as a more General question, the piece we're talking about is a mid-1960s Breitling Top Time. Does that make a difference? Thanks for any and all feedback! Look for images at some point in th
Won't bore you with the details about the circumstances but today, a complete stranger and I had this short conversation . . . . . . Stranger: I like your watch AzPaul: Thanks. It's a '66 Stranger: Is it a pie-pan? AzPaul: It is Stranger: Can I take a look at it? AzPaul: Absolutely Made my morning
And I am going to 5th Ave in NYC today to buy my 6 yr old girl an American Doll for an early Xmas present, and my 2.5 yr old son some stuff from FAO Schwartz, before the holiday shopping madness starts. Maybe I can get something for me for early Xmas too! Plan on hitting the Omega boutique (among others).
