The watch was a huge hit and continues to be one of their most popular models. The original 42 mm stainless-steel chrono featured the traditional tri-color dial with El Primero automatic caliber 400 B movement. This year's release features the same case with the same movement but totally new dial. 2 OF 2 The new dial is an anthracite tri-color dial that features brushed engine "Geneva stripes." The subsidiary dials remain the traditional light gray, dark gray, and blue. Elgin vs. Hamilton
Hi folks, I'm new here. I used to collect pocket watches - my wife even sewed watch pockets in my pants so I could carry one, which I did as my only watch! I collected Hamiltons, because of the history, and because I'm a Pennsylvania boy myself.Well, along came two kids, and between one thing and another, I reduced my modest collection to a MUCH more modest collection (just 4 left!), and stopped carrying them, got a cheap quartz wristwatch, and essentially 'hibernated', horologically speaking, until about a year ago. At that point, I decided I wanted a high-quality, reliable mechanical wristwatch, so I went back to Hamiltons. I was lucky enough to score a Peyton (round face with 770 mvt) on Ebay, then a Nielsen (round with a 747), and finally a Chapman (rectangular 770). I decided that maybe I should start collecting WRIST watches instead of POCKET.I've patiently watched Ebay, but I soon realized that the ones I'd gotten were very lucky deals, and I'd wait a long time for anything

Swiss mystery brand?
I saved this watch from the melting pot back in the late 70's!It's a tiny ladies manual wind 22mm case. The wife won't wear it, and even though I have small wrists would look silly on me I've tried to find info on this company over the years, but have never seen another with this brand name!The case is in near nos condition, and not sure on how to remove the rear cover without scratching it up. It looks like it's never been removed, plus the watch still runs.The only history I could find that helped me date it, was the "features" on its dial "Nivaflex" mainspring, and "Incabloc" to the late 40's early 50's.I would like to find any info pertaining to Belax's history, and if anyone else has a watch with this brand, or even heard of it?

Why do I find myself always looking at this watch?
Been looking at a PO 8500 off and on for awhile now, but have never actually pulled the trigger. I just keep going to Omega ADs to tease myself. I currently own a 16610LV, so maybe in my mind I cannot justify more than one diver style watch. Maybe I just have a thing for the look of a diver style watch, as I also cannot keep my eyes off the Tudor Black Bay (Blue) that was just released at Basel this year.There's no hope for me!

Verify Authenticity at AD Include Paperwork?
I read that you can verify the authenticity of a Rolex at a RSC for $150 and have a few questions¡­-How long does it take? -Is the price $150?-Does this include any type of paperwork or certificate card?Thanksedit - I meant RSC not AD
