Zenith Zenith 51774 wrist watches news:
Hitting the auction block this weekend is Steve McQueen's 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4.? With estimates ranging from $8-12 million, the car is on track to break sales records and demonstrates that the King of Cool's legacy is still very much alive.? More than thirty years after his death, everything the man touched remains Cool with a capital C.? That's certainly the case with watches, where the models that McQueen wore command a premium in the market.? For most buyers, that means a McQueen watch ¨C a blue-dial Heuer Monaco 1133B, a Rolex Submariner 5512, or a Hanhart 417 ¨C is in Grail territory. However, there is a far less well known and far more attainable McQueen watch, and that's what we're looking at today: the Benrus Series #3061 black dial.? It's what we like to call the Bullitt Benrus. When McQueen took delivery of his Ferrari 275 in 1967, he was in the middle of filming what would become arguably his most famous film: Bullitt.? The movie follows San Francisco cop Frank Bullitt (McQue
Dear Members of WATCH TALK FORUMS:As you know, part of what keeps our community going and growing are the volunteers who serve on the WTF Admin Team. We've got some openings on the team to serve in various forums (listed below) and I'm hoping to hear from folks who have the interest in joining the team, and the right background for the job. Hello everyone,As some of you may know, my name is Joe and I work for AZ Fine Time (Citizen Signature : Seiko Ananta Spring Drive : Grand Seiko : Arizona Fine Time) in Scottsdale AZ, and also know as Cigar King (Cigarking - Your No. 1 Source for Discount Cigars, Scottsdale Cigar Store, Scottsdale Cigar Lounge - CigarKing). We are a new sponsor on the site and I would like to give people an opportunity to get a feel for our store. I also would like to let everyone know that I am here to help, so if there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to contact me at any of the info on my signature. As a surprise to most people, we are not a jewelry store. We are more like a mens luxury store. We carry thousands of brands of cigars, cuff links, pens, lighters, leather goods, high quality shaving products, winders, and (of course) stock over 500 models of fine time pieces. People always ask "Why cigars and watches?". Basically, they are the owner of the stores 2 favorite hobbies. On this 1st
This place is addictive. I am new to the forum and watch collecting in general. I am just getting started and now find myself 'checking in' on the WTF several (SEVERAL) times per daythanks guys (and gals). Anyway, I just got my first watchTissot PRC200. I am very pleased. My first watch was a Bulova Marine Star (got it 14 years ago and didn't appreciate it). BTW, how are the Accutrons? I just ordered a Magarette (beautiful watch made in New Zealand). I also have my eye on a Lum-Tec and Hamilton. I have a gift certificate to Tourneau and want to make an addition to my collection. Personally, I think everything is over priced there but I have a gc. Anyway, any shopping advice (is e-bay safe?) or brand advice is appreciated. Thanks, WTF, for becoming my daily productivity killer.
Wow gorgeous watch just not my cup of tea Stunning piece i came across today quite a rare bird i believe
