- My husbands expensive athletic watch broke and he needed a new one but we were on a budget this time so this watch was a great find. It's lightweight, easy to use, and looks nice enough to wear everyday.

Zenith 03.2050.4035/01.C713 wrist watches news:
I love stuff like this. Why? Because products like the upcoming H20 ORCA watch are designed specifically for the most discriminating watch nerds who don't have zillions to spend on their passion. The ORCA is a cool concept, offers meaningful customization options, and is a durable watch to boot. Let's check it out.H20 is a German watch maker whose collection debuted with the Kalmar collection I believe. They are what we like to call a "forum brand" because they spend a lot of time communicating with watch forum members (such as on WatchUSeekwatches-dealer), and producing products to appeal to that audience. Those guys mostly like dive watches it seems. Nothing wrong with that, I mostly like dive watches as well. The ORCA is the second major project from the young brand. The ORCA watch will take many different forms. Here is how it starts: H20 developed a module which holds the dial, sapphire crystal, and movement. This module can be swapped into five different case designs. There is no
We're always on the lookout for brands that offer especially good value for a mechanical watch. Especially if that watch happens to be Swiss made and powered by a high quality movement¡ and even more so if that movement happens to have an interesting complication, such as a GMT or chronograph. Davosa, a German brand established in 1993, specializes in offering such watches. Ranging from a few hundred to around $2,000, the Davosa watches have classic looks, high quality components and the build quality one would expect from a "Swiss Made" watch.? Unfortunately, like many smaller European brands, you (if you're in the US) might not have heard of them. Well¡ let's change that.Case: SteelMovement: ETA 2893-2Dial: BlackLume: YesLens: Sapphire with A/R coatingStrap: Black LeatherWater Res.: 50mDimensions: 40x46mmThickness: 12 mmLug Width: 20 mmCrown: 7 x 4 mm screw downWarranty: NAThe Davosa Vigo Dual-Time is a watch that immediately caught my eye. Hope this qualifies for the new forum - good luck!!
One gunmetal "CRAVEN" pocket-watch. Swiss-made. Mechanical stem-winder in good mechanical condition and fair cosmetic condition (Requires a clean and polish). Keeps good time and ticks beautifully. Possesses a neat minute subdial at 6 o'clock. Open-faced with clear, unblemished crystal and face (But the crystal needs a wash more than a homeless bum). The watch is chainless, and I must find one for it. It cost me $40. It's dimensions are 4.9cm across (From edge-to-edge at 9 & 3) and 6.5cm across from the top of the ring to the bottom of the case, going from 12-6. What size might this watch be, and how old might it be? A member on another forum who collects pocket-watches said that in the 1920s, several watches were made out of gunmetal, so it could be as old as 80 or 90 years. Regardless, it's a happy and accurate little ticker:) I'm gonna use it all the time.-The new ticker:
I currently have a 5146g (cream dial) and 5167. I'm looking for a smart, formal, work/ wear with a suit watch.I did have a 5196g (that's a pic of mine below) but traded it for the ac.I like the classic look of the 5196, the clean dial but I did worry it was a little too thin. Then again that was when I didn't have the option of turning to my 5146.On the other hand the size and thickness of the 5296 is perfect, I like the sector dial but not sure if it takes it away from being a dress/ formal watch. Also I'm not sure about the date window, in fact if they'd left it out I think this would be an easier decision to make. What do you guys think? Any more pics welcome.
