A Trio of Classics . . . Prior to 1928, if one was interested in purchasing a new Hamilton, the choice was pretty simple ¨C the Cushion, the Square, the Oval, the Tonneau or the Barrel. The defining difference in each model was the choice, ¡°engraved¡± or ¡°plain.¡± There was no choice in movement either ¨C each model was offered with Hamilton¡¯s workhorse, the 17-jewel 987 movement. Hey Gang, Just wanted to see which dial everyone thought looked better on the Patek 5146g (White Gold) version - White (Cream) or Slate Grey. Looking to purchase one in the next few weeks. Currently leaning towards the Slate Grey dial as it looks a little more modern or up to date (to me anyways). Thanks in advance for your comments!
I have always asked for a casket for every Rolex that I have purchased, am I the only one that requires this or do others ask for it too? I find the casket's useful for storing my watches in the safe deposit box and good for shipping. I normally store my watches in a casebudi at home.
