Zenith 16.2310.692/51.C705 wrist watches news:
do you guys know of any small, independent swiss brands in the sub-$2000 range, with a wide range of models? i'm trying to think of something to compare ORIS to, and i can't think of anything in the same market. they're kinda nipping at Omega's heels, but they're not as trendy as Tissot or as obscure as Mido. can you guys think of any watches that fit right up there in the affordable-high-tech range?
A few months back, I acquired an Elgin 'Crusader', a neat little watch from the 1950sThe black dial is pretty scabrous, though I think pretty clearly original. This week, I picked up the movement and dial from a Crusader, but a WHITE dial that's pristine, at least compared to the black one.I need to service either movement before I can wear the watch, so I was thinking of swapping int he white dial and sending off the black one to see what ID can make of it.If I do that, and get both movements working, I will have a mix-and-match Crusader! BUT, what do y'all think about sending off an original black dial for refurbishment?
Seltene Maurice Lacroix-LES M¨¨CANIQUES-F¨¹nf-Zeiger-Uhr Any opinions? Not sure how old is it, as this is not specified in the text.
My Omega AD offered me this SMP GMT/CHRONO/DATE at a CRAZY price. So tempting but I think I will hold out for the new white teck dial instead of this grey teck. Any thoughts?
I always wanted a steel braclet for my Pam but I was not going to pay $3000+ only on a steel bracelet. So one day surfing the web I bought this aftermarket steel bracelet that fit perfectly for my Pam.I presonally think it looks great. Now what do you guys think.
