Seiko SRP043 - A Pilot Diver's watch
I wrote this review a few weeks ago, but I did not know of this forum. So I am posting this here to share my thoughts and photos. When I received this watch a few weeks ago it became one of my favorite. I actually liked it at first sight almost one year ago, when I firs glimpsed it one a forum's post. However a brief search and exorbitant price (at least for me) smothered my interest at that time. Months later it started to pop up on the forums, sales posts. I snatched this from a great guy who had it and only used it for a few days. As usual the original rubber band had to go, and I fitted a leather band that I had available. This is 22 mm shaved and sqeezed down to 20mm at the lugs. Even though I was not sure about it, the result was quite pleasing to my eyes. I would like to know how carefull you are about wearing you watches in casual locations. I'am parnoid about getting a scratch on some of my better watches.

Watch Protection Tactics
I witnessed a funny situation while walking the other day. 2 guys walking the opposite directions towards each other and their watches smashed into each other's. They didn't even bother looking at the watches after the incident happened. It made me thinking; I actually am fully aware of my surroundings and I'm actively scanning the area for any possible threats to my beloved AP watches' well being. I learned it the hard way when some dude accidentally hit my Panda (no, not the animal) while in the elevator causing a scratch on the bezel. Elevators are the only place where I get that close to strangers. And I'm not particularly a fan of such situations, unless the person(s) in there posses qualities prized by a superficial man, if you know what I mean I cannot be the only one? How do you make sure your AP watch stays flawless?

Sydney supply drastically reduced
A friend of mine is looking to buy a Rolex soon so we went to most of the dealers (grey market and AD) in Sydney and the supply is far lower than it used to be.
