Q: Regular manual winding necessary with automatic watch?
Hi there,Four weeks ago, I bought a "Die Fliegeruhr UTC" from IWC. During the last four weeks, the watch has stopped running twice. I needed to manually re-wind it to make it work again. I wear the watch on a daily basis and only take it off at night.Is this normal? I assumed that an automatic watch never needs to be wound manually. The power reserve is supposed to be 42 h, so taking off the watch at night should not be a problem.Thank you for your help,Martin

finally got my super ocean back!
As some of you may recall, I had bought a Breitling Super Ocean from my boss who was at the time going through a brutual divorce, I stroked the check and he delievered on the watch, all the boxes, three hats, and a breitling wallet! he gave me a great deal on the watch and the only stipulation was that I never sell the watch to gain a serious profit, as he pretty much gave the thing away to me.
