Hello folks. I'm mike from the Philippines. I stumbled upon this great forum through google, because of my interest in the seiko monster. As I browse through the forum and seeing samples of vintage divers, my interest was drawn to vintage watches in general and divers and chronos in particular. I've been reading & back-reading the old threads here in WTF Japanese and Asian Watch ForumI want to equip myself with knowledge before I decide on what vintage watch/es to get.for now, I'm eying for the seiko 6309, 7002 divers & the 6139-7101 white helmet. :)

Putting my money where my mouth is.
I have been getting posts telling me to puit my money where my mouth is. In other words why haven't I been posting watch pictures.I can't. Everytime I try I get a pop-up that says "Java machines running at the same time have caused errors" It is a computer problem. Any help would be appreciated. I have a lot of nice watches to show. From Wired:In the current issue of Forensic Science International, the team led by James F. Carter and Richard Sleeman concluded that there is no meaningful relationship between where a bill came from and the type or amount of drug residue is on it.As a basis of comparison, they added a clever trick to their test.On each trip to the bank, one of the researchers would note the arm on which he was wearing his wristwatch. The statistics showed that the arm he wore his watch on had as much of a bearing on the pattern of drug residue as where the bills came from.The scientists rationalized that since bills are circulated quickly, their geographic origin is totally unrelated to how contaminated they are. Thus, if someone gets caught with a stash of drug money, they can no longer blame the above-average levels of residue on the hood where they got it.
