Around this time last year, Stowa released the Antea "back to bauhaus" series. The "b2b" was an offshoot of the classic Antea line, which itself pulls inspiration from a watch Stowa first produced in the 1920s. The b2b was yet another product born of the collaboration between Stowa and famed German designer, Hartmut Esslinger, who also designed the Rana and Stowa's new logo.The b2b series was not without controversy, however. Some longtime Stowa fans were puzzled by the release, questioning Schauer's direction for a brand that had for nearly 20 years produced timepieces based on tried-and-true designs from its historical catalogue. newb question on straps
I am in need of replacing the strap on my khaki Navy internal bezel (2 crowns) and I wanted to opt out of the rubber or steel straps that are usually paired with this model.I am considering a similar look to the one here: watchtalkforums.info/foru...forum/4847.htmI believe my watch is a 20mm width at the lug. Any suggestions as to where I can find something like this? I've looked at the Hamilton bands offered on watchbands, but the tan leather ones with the rivets all seem to be 22mm or more.And one more thing...i'll take suggestions on how to get rid of those scratch marks on the case. 600 grit? higher?thanks!

Uh oh, the Speedy is starting to grow on me . . .
Well, after saying that my new Planet Ocean is my last Omega (for the time being), I now find myself looking at the Speedmaster. I originally thought that the Planet Ocean would be my last major watch purchace for the next 5-10 years. However, with everyone saying the moon-watch black faced speedy is the legend' of Omega, and a watch collection cannot be complete without one, etc. this even farther sparked my interest. I currently own two Seamasters (the 2531.80, and the PO), but I've never really seen a Speedy in real life, just in pictures on the net.
