Zenith 03.2080.400/01C494 wrist watches news:
The Suunto Kailash is the Finnish sport watch company's first "premium" smartwatch, and it has been designed specifically for very frequent travelers. The name of the game for smartwatch makers today is to answer the question, "what do I do with it?" Consumers are increasingly fascinated by the new designs and features companies from Apple to Suunto are putting into their smart, connected wrist watches but mainstream consumers have yet to find the type of utility they need to truly understand how smartwatches fit into their lives. In 2015, it is all about the niche appeal smartwatch when it comes to those produced (perhaps ironically) by traditional watch makers. The Swatch Touch Zero One, for example, is meant for volleyball. The upcoming Suunto Kailash was made for people who travel a lot and want to keep track of their adventures. The name "Kailash" as well as "7R" for the companion iPhone app are full of symbolism that Suunto hopes will help people understand who the watch is meant
I think most folk would have liked to have had news if not seen the replacement for the 2254.50 which remains one of the most popular of Omega's designs. In looking at the releases I think I would have liked to see one other complication from the new cal 8500/8501 family. The Hour Vision Annual Calendar had already been announced earlier this year so while it was nice to see more of it, I was looking forward to seeing another complication, perhaps a GMT if not a chronograph. 2010 is another two years away so I'm sure there's plenty of time yet for more gems to be revealed. Overall, I liked what I saw of Omega at BaselWorld 08. There are some real beauties in the lineup even if there might have been some which were missing. There is much more to see I'm sure over the months ahead. The star of the show was definitely the AT but there are other jewels anyone of us would have liked on our wrist too I'm sure.. Omega gets better and better Your thoughts pals?Y'all enjoy your Sunday nowZIN
How "German" are these? I have been enlightened here on the Forum that even "Made in" does not mean the Asians have not infiltrated European watches (like everything else )So far my eye on ....Nomos?Stowa?Archimede?Zenith?Glashutte?Wempe?Also, at what "Euro/pricepoint" do I need to spend to get a truer German watch (i.e. no asian movement - Swiss ok)We leave for Munich - Wednesday - can't wait. DankeBryan
Hey guysI believe this has comer up recently, but it doesn't seem to cover my question entirely. I am looking for a leather strap, and I know exactly what my requirements are, but I just can't seem to find it - which I find odd!I believe a lot of you chaps recommend The Watch Prince, and I am sure their straps are really good, but I think their website is terrible! You can't use it to narrow down the mountain of straps very easilly! All I want is a good quality black leather strap with white stitching for a deployant buckle. The strap needs to be 20mm at the watch end, and 18mm at the buckle end. This shouldn't be too hard to source, right!?Oh yeah, and I am in the UK, so a UK-based site would be ideal I guess, but not too much of a problem.
