Zenith 16-1220-67-01-M1220 wrist watches news:
Hello all. This is my first post, although I've checked out the sight a few times.I'm wondering if anyone knows of a reliable sourch for Heuer/Tag Heuer bezels.LVMH won't ship to me, and I hate to have the watch gone for a month when I can do it myself in a few minutes. Ref 230.306 from '84-'85.Thanks
Drew Brees was on Letterman last night. I noticed his huge black watch on a nice brown strap. I'm posting the interview here. It is worth looking at if you missed it and you like football. If you have no interest in Brees, but want to see his watch and take a guess, you can stop the video at 1:33 or at 2:25 and have a look. Why not post a pic of the watch you think he is sporting?YouTube - David Letterman - Super Bowl MVP, Drew Brees
For those who have them I wanted to know if the color is different or the same between these models? On their website the color of the 5711 is much darker than the 5712, personally love both even if I already chose which one I am getting, going monday to see them and order it, according to them around 2 months wait, but that's reasonable next to some Rolex models where you need to wait 4-6 months. When I went to the boutique I hoped to see both with blue dials, but the 5711 was with white dial, can't say I liked it much, and the 5712 was the WG version with silver dial, very beautiful indeed, but I am getting one with steel bracelet. Is the difference seen on these pics due to different light condition or are the dials different? Here's the 2 pics from the PP site where you see a very big color difference. Thanks for your replies 5711_1A_010.png5712_1A_001-3.png
HiI have recently traded a Rolex Gmt 2 2004 Pepsi for Rolex Gmt Ceramic 2010 stainless and have just found that the movent stops when I hold a magnet up close to the second hand. Should I be concerened. An accurate answer would be appreciated.ThanksKeith
I'm looking at a future purchase for the wife. We've narrowed it down to the Oyster Perpetual 36 and the DateJust 36.For the stainless steel models, the DJ ($6600) is a little more than the OP ($5400), but has more options (dial, bezel, bracelet, etc).My wife doesn't care for the date. On her current watches, she just has me to change the date for her. But, in talking with her, she doesn't mind either of the two watches. My questions are... 1. Is one better than the other in terms of holding its value?2. Is one better than the other in terms of getting a discount?3. For a possible resale later on, is there a big difference in getting the oyster bracelet vs the jubilee bracelet (if we go with the datejust)?4. Lastly, is there anything else I should be thinking about, that I haven't mentioned?
