TW Steel TW21M wrist watches news:
I just got a new Jazzmaster Viewmatic in the mail today!!! Great Watch! Everytime I see a new Hamilton watch, I am amazed at the quality. Espically for the price. My first automatic watch was a Rolex GMT Master which I still wear daily. I would definately say the quality of the Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic is equal to the Rolex. I am slowly turning into a Rolex hater. It is a great watch, but I am not sure it is worth the price. I could have bought 5-10 Hamiltons for the price of the Rolex. I keep thinking I am ready to purchase my dream watch, an IWC Pilot Chrono, but everytime I see a new Hamilton, I wonder if it is really worth the extra money for the high dollar watches. I could get a Maestro for 1/4 the price and still have money left over for a rainy day. What is your opinion?
Just bought a 1956 automatic Bulova and an automatic Benrus at the antique store. Snapped some quick pics, take a look. On a side note, does anyone the approximate date of this Benrus. There isn't a serial number on the back, simply the letters "WR". Thanks guys!
I'm hoping a few of you can help me out on this. I've got the Glycine Lagunare L1000 Chrono and really love the watch. But the rubber strapnot so much. I've come to the conclusion as I evaluate my collection that buckles and I simply don't play well together. They just seem bulky, cumbersome, and a pain to operate when a rubber strap is paired to a buckle featuring a bent tang (I hope "tang" is the right word). That's what I have in the case of my Lagunare as shown in the picture to follow. In all of these years as a watch enthusiast, I've never ordered a true custom strap for any of my time pieces. I've typically been content with what they originally came with. But for the Glycine, I'm wanting to get a true custom leather strap (my choice of leather, thread color, etc.) with a deployant buckle. It seems like all of the strap-makers use their own preferred buckle designs in their creations but no deployants. But did I mention buckles and I don't get along? I would really like
Just checking on our accuracies. Mine is doing very well. Some days it runs spot on other it gains 4 seconds a day, others it loses 2 seconds a day. How about yours?
Hey all I've been researching the Explorer II 16570..it's my first potential Rolex watch and right now I am wondering how the resale would be if I was to purchase a pre-owned 16570 and sold it in a couple years to upgrade to a submariner 116610 or GMT 116710. Are these pre-owned Explorer IIs holding their value??
