A. Lange & Sohne 250.032 wrist watches news:
Fine cigars have much in common with fine watches ¡ª luxury products with romantic heritage, handmade by skilled craftsmen, appreciated by connoisseurs ¡ª and now Hublot has created a timepiece that ties the two together together in a significant way ¡ª the new King Power Arturo Fuente edition, developed in collaboration with one of the world’s most popular premium cigar brands. The Arturo Fuente cigar company, founded in 1912 by Cuban immigrant Arturo Fuente, Sr. in Tampa, is one of the top purveyors of hand-rolled cigars outside of Cuba, producing around 3o million cigars per year at its factory in the Dominican Republic. The most famous of these is the Fuente Fuente Opus X, the first Dominican puro (a cigar in which all the tobacco is of the same national origin) and one of the world’s most sought-after cigars. In its press release announcing the new watch, Hublot compares the master torcedors who roll the Opus X in a dedicated room of the Fuente factory to its own expert wa
Has anyone ever put a Yacht Master on a strap? just wondering I was just looking at it today and thinking this watch would not look half bad on a nice black croc strap. Maybe I am nuts
I suppose this has come up before, but I can't seem to uncover the discussion via a forum search.I understand that possibly WWI silver "British" trench watches with movements signed "SS&Co." are Stauffer, Sons & Co., and that this company had a relationship with IWC in the first 15 or so years of the 20th Century, where IWC supplied SS&Co. with movements. The SS&Co signing was usually accompanied by a device of 3 triangles. I also understand that SS&Co also occasionally signed similar watch movements with "S&Co". Any of this ring a bell with anybody? I read one entry in a Google search of the subject that says SS&Co with the 3 triangle device are not IWC, but he doesn't say if that means the movement is good or if it's junk. I couldn't find anything further on this.
TV brands such watches from shop or other cables shows mention it has swiss automatic movement, some says its its Swiss made.in these TV brands does it make any difference when they both have same SWISS movement but one reads SWISS MADE and another says SWISS MOVEMENT.I usually see this in CROTON where it says "SWISS MVMT" and INVICTA says "SWISS MADE".Would it make a difference in value to you?
shot this while testing my camera. just thought it might be of interest to some of you guys (only watching it in hd does it justice):YouTube - sony nex macro watch internalstell me what you guys think
