A. Lange & Sohne 702.025 wrist watches news:
Get ready for the first Real-Life Horology event. This time it will be a light social gathering to have drinks and talk about watches in New York City. Casual and fun. Come there and we will give name tags to RLH attendees so you'll know who shares your addiction. I will be there with my HourTime Show podcast co-host John Biggs. I don't come to New York City very often, so this will be a special occasion for readers in NYC. Don't be shy, come by and you'll feel welcome. We are proud to invite New York watch lovers to this seminal RLH event. The NYC RLH event will be on May 2nd, 2012 in New York City - location and time to be determined and e-mailed to you a few days before the event. The invite will go out to all RLH members no matter where you live (because we don't know who will be in NYC on May 2nd). After you get the invite you'll be asked to RSVP if you are doing. If you are already an RLH member then do nothing but wait. New RLH members sign up by clicking the button below.[pollda
Typically my 2220.80 2500c runs 4.5s fast a day, since I started my observation at midnight on May 1st (by synchronizing to the atomic clock) the watch has actually been running about a quarter of a second slow per day. Its slightly over a second slow at this point, which is basically dead on as far as I'm concerned. (given that I cant even start the second hand at that precisely) So question is, the watch has been running non stop since august- has the break in period finally passed? Perhaps the spring has fully settled. Thoughts? Similar Experiences?
With a little more space in the drawer to be filled, I opted to bring home a new fellow recently. After more than a little shopping around, I was stopped deadDEAD in my tracks when I saw the new Stolas Genoa. On the website, the watch face seems to be solid white. In reality, it's slightly sliver/gray to my eye. This was a pleasant surprise to me as I wasn't entirely sure I was up for a full-on white face. Now, the attention to detail on these watches is simply fabulous. This thing wears very comfortably with the stainless band, and with the included NATO strap. I have yet to try the rubber strap that's included as well. The skelatonized hour & minute hands. The lightening bolt second hand. The lume (even on the bezel) and the hour markers surrounded in a shimmering royal blue outline. The sailing yatch and palm trees embossed on the face. The colored matched circle surrounding the date window. The waves on the bezel. The embossed logo on the right side just above the crown
Starting with Omega PO. It doesn't look like I will ever master IPhone typing (:-0)!!
