A. Lange & Sohne 219.026 wrist watches news:
While going through some old boxes the other day I came across an old Bulova Accutron that I bought myself over 30 years ago. The battery died a long time ago and I never got around to replacing it. I put it away during one of our moves and it was forgotten until now. I just had my jeweler put a new battery in it and it works! I just set the time this afternoon but so far it is keeping good time. The crystal is scratched and needs to be replaced. It is 37mm wide. The case back, it needs to be cleaned.Notice the bracelet, no clasp! It is a flexible Speidel USA bracelet.Another shot of the Speidel flexible bracelet.Wrist shotI don't know what one of these would be worth today but it is full of memories for me and therefore priceless.

Hey everybody,This is probably going to sound silly, but is it safe to wear my 15400 with a suit? I seem to have some light scratches on the bracelet and have no idea how they got there. I am super careful with the piece. I heard from someone that sleeves and suit jacket rubbing against it could have caused this. Are they that sensitive? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hello TRF friends, The Gerald Genta 70s design happens to be my favourite design. I am lucky to be able to acquire few RO jumbo throughout my journey of this hobby. I have chance to gather them together and manage to take few quick iPhone shots to share with you guys, hope you all like them. Any comments or recommendations are more than welcome. Did I say incoming? Make that landed The reasoning behind my selection of this one goes beyond logic, maybe beyond even WIS-logic and into the realms of that small (and at times short-sighted) group, Il Paneristi. In my feeble defense, I made the mistake of accepting an invitation to Firenze not to long ago and the temptation got the best of me...Four numerals, small seconds and last but certainly not least, the Marina Militare label... c/o Ralf und Volker... I'd never buy such a watch w/o seeing it in person so it was fate when my favorite local grey dealer pulled it out to show me. Only one owner, originating from an Austrian AD (I curr. reside in Vienna), properly used, but not abused; my dealer decided not to do anything to it so that the buyer could decide. Considering it's not vintage per say, I'm going to have him send it in to OP for a full service and (minimal) surface polish. My two PAMs will pretty much keep me satisfied for a long time to come*... big and clean vs. complic
