A.Lange Sohne 303.021 wrist watches news:
GuysAs you may know, I get a daily email alert on Omega news worldwide. Sometimes it doesn't work as well The following which appeared in the Huntsville Times was found by TZ member Christopher Meisenzahl and I'm sure you'll consider it to be of interest ( Thanks Chris ) -al/news/huntsvilletim...280.xml&coll=1In space, timing is everythingThursday, January 31, 2008By SHELBY G. SPIRESTimes Aerospace Writer shelby.spires@htimesAstronauts recall precision, reliability of Omega watchesThe surface of the moon or the inside of a spacecraft is no place to have to guess at the correct time. For early NASA astronauts, knowing the exact time and how to use a stopwatch sometimes meant the difference between life and death, recalled retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom Stafford, a former astronaut."We used our Omega SpeedMaster watches mainly as backups to onboard clocks," said Stafford, a veteran of two Gemini missions, the Apollo 10 lunar module test flight to the moon and the Apollo-Soyuz Test Pro
So, which strap? I need a longer one than it came on. For those unfamiliar with the watch it has a silver, not white dial.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
So, I've had a line on a nice Breitling Super-Ocean. I've been looking at it for a few months. Last week, the seller dropped the price by $250.00. I had the cash, but thought I would do the "responsible" thing by waiting until "bonus day" on September 10.The watch sold yesterday. So, I guess I'll start my search over again; perusing the "For Sale" forum, and trying to keep the cash from burning a hole in my pocket. The moral? When you see what you want and you've got the cash, go for it...
Curious to see what people can find in their local area or places they have visited recently. For me the Explorer I (almost everywhere), Explorer II (both colors, usually have a black or white if not both), and an Air King (not everywhere but it's not hard to find) are the ones I see. I occasionally see the Deep Sea in Black as well. The blue Milgauss is a bit more uncommon but it can be found but the GV model is pretty much everywhere. The GV doesn't seem to sell all that well as I'll go to the same AD and still see the watch there, while other models rotate as they sell. The Sub was everywhere until fairly recently. I still can't believe that there is a Sub scarcity... Models I've never seen just sitting in an AD are the BLNR, Hulk, SD43 and Daytona (you see the precious metal models everywhere though). Luckily, I've gotten to try all of them as I have a friend who owns a BLNR and another who owns the Hulk. Funny enough, maybe I'm just not paying attention to them, I don't remember s
In light of all of the Basel 2018 speculation on new releases, today I very coincidently received in trade a GMT-Master II 16710 Z series red/black on a Jubilee bracelet.
