- Pretty and comfortable. I am just concerned that the crystal will be scratched easily due to the fact that it is at the same level with the casing and is not tected any.

Alpina AL-372N4S6 wrist watches news:
If I say Seiko, you are probably thinking about affordable, value-for-money dive watches like the Orange Seiko or maybe even the Sumo. While it is true that Seiko is most well known for its bang-for-buck divers, did you also know that they make minute repeater watches? Not just any minute repeater, mind you: we are referring to a one-of-a-kind minute repeater that uses Seiko¡¯s unique Spring Drive technology. The watch I'm talking about is the epic Seiko Credor Minute Repeater.Still on Seiko, we also check out a very special Grand Seiko that¡¯s regulated to very high standards, +3/-3 seconds per day, in fact, almost rivaling the standards that Patek Philippe sets for watches bearing its Patek Philippe Seal.We also check out SevenFriday¡¯s latest V-Series watches. In keeping with the spirit of the brand, the new V-Series watches are unlike anything else on the market. Telling time on these watches can be a little tricky and requires knowledge of basic addition. Lastly, we turn our attentio
Well, I suppose this as a good a place as any to say hello. My name is Nick, just joined the forum and thought I would share a story. So I've been engaged for two years (didn't want the future wife to be planning the wedding while she should be focusing on passing the pharmacy boards). Anyways, she passed her exams, and we start planning this beautiful wedding. Now, because she just graduated, she has almost no money, where I have been working the past 3 years (with my measly BA.. :p ), needless to say 85% of the wedding is comming out of my pocket (my parents and her parents are graciously contributing the rest!). The fiancee decides that she wants to spoil me for a change, and that she wants to get me a nice watch for a wedding present. I've been aggonizing over the PO color combo (who hasnt). I want this to be kept in the family for generations, so the classic black/white seemed right, but the orange bezel is SO me, an I couldn't stop imagining it hanging to my wrist!!So toda
Hello People !! I have been intermittently away quite a while from the hobby due to my occupations with school. Fortunately, the week before last my college studies faced their demise. I finally got my degree :D It's been a crazy 4 years and a half but it is finally over. The watch that accompanied me all the way through is my Sub. I didn't mind wearing it with a suit, as, even though it is not proper etiquette, I couldn't be ungrateful to the watch that kept every second of the hardest exams for me. I just had to wear it My dad's now the proud parent of a new college grad. and of course I owe both my parents absolutely everything I have been able to do up to now. I just can't find the proper words to convey how much my family has helped me through. In watch terms, let's just say my dad was the one who introduced me to this hobby Thanks for reading, and of course, watch relating the thread is a yummy picture :DA picture of my degree and my Subhave a great Holiday !
This isn't an Invicta bashing thread. But the brand often causes me to think about things, which hurts my head.Invicta sells about 1.5 million watches a year. Rolex about 1 million, Omega slightly less. And then there's Seiko, which sells a huge number of watches though I don't have production figures. Now it seems to me - without hard data - Invicta generates far more complaints on its pieces than do other mass produced name brands. So my question is: Is this due to a higher failure/defect rate or is it merely that there are more Invicta fans than, say, Rolex or Oris etc. backers on the watch forums? Or are Rolex buyers, for example, less likely to be "WIS" (ie most are consumers as opposed to horologists) or less likely to have the time or inclination to post on the Web?Any thoughts, gents?
Hi,I recently bought a Speedmaster Moonwatch 3570.50.00 and am after some advice please.I would like to get it either a leather or rubber strap to have some different options for wearing.Does any body know the code for the correct Omega deployment clasp, and the uk price if possible? Also the code for the Omega black leather perforated strap (think its called a racing strap), and the UK price if possible? Finally, best place to buy? from an AD?Thanks in advance for your opinions!
