- The yellow band makes this watch unique and that is why I had to have it. The band is a bright, eye-catching yellow. This is a great summer watch...really shows up a tan!

I just bought a Hamilton "automatic chronograph" yesterday from a local jewlerly store. It was used, purchased by the store from an estate sale. This is my first mechanical watch and was perchased as gift to myself for graduating college. I really wanted to get a watch that would last me through my career. I was drawn to it by the traditional look, and the fact that it contained swiss movement. Have little knowlege about these watches, their reputation, or the service/care needed for them, I wanted to post on here to get some feedback from those of you who know vastly more than I. Please just give some general information about this watch, your opinion of it, and any "need to knows" that you are willing to share. Thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge.==Matt

Hello all, I am hoping that someone may be able to give me some guidance regarding selling a Rolex DateJust that I just received as a gift. The watch is 36mm, two tone gold and silver with a Jubilee band, white face with Roman numerals. I received it a few days ago as a gift from my company and it's still nesteled in it's box. While it's beautiful, it's not my style and I am interested in trading it in for a different model. Here's the rub...the watch's back has been inscribed with my company name and the warranty card is filled out. I contacted the jeweler that my company bought it from and they told me that the watch is a list price of $9,300, but is now considered "used" because of the inscription and warranty being filled out. They offered me $4,500. I am thinking of putting a new back on the watch that does not have an inscription, but don't know if that will help me or not in getting more $ for it. I don't want to be taken advantage of and don't know what the best course
Hello all, I was in a wreck while riding a Harley, hit the ground at about 50mph and was a rag doll for a couple hundred feet. Lucky to be alive and only have some sprains, road rash, and a broken collar bone. The Rolex, while tough as nails, wasn¡¯t so lucky.Anyone able to ball park what Rolex might charge to fix? It¡¯s a great story for the watch if its fixable!
