- I bought this for my 16 yr old niece for Christmas. I was very pleased when it arrived. It looks very well made and fashionable. I hope a finicky teenager will be just as pleased!

Breitling A27364 wrist watches news:
Hey all,I got a question for you Day Date & DateJust experts.. I've seen leather straps on DateJusts, and I think I've seen one on a DayDate too (but I could be wrong here). I'd like to know, if I bought a DateJust on a bracelet, can I add a Rolex strap at any time? Or, does the watch have to be bought on the strap originally to get a strap? If it does, can you get a bracelet to go with it? I can see a benefit to having a bracelet for the everyday wear and a strap to 'dress up' the watch a bit. But can I do this? I know there are aftermarket straps, but I'd have no interest in those for a Rolex as I'd want the endlink to cover the gap (and I've never seen an aftermarket co. make one that looks right).Second question is does the same info apply to the DayDate? Can I get a Rolex strap for those too? Thanks!!
A bit of a vintage noob question.I am curious what is a reasonable expectation of the accuracy of vintage mechanical time pieces. I know that is a loaded question and it relies greatly on the quality and condition of the movement and what position they are in (crown up or down, crystal up or down, etc.). With my modern autos like ETA 2824-2, Miyota 9015 or even some of the inexpensive Chinese Seagull movements, I know all is right in the world if they are running + or -10 sec (most are in the 3-5 sec.) Can I expect similar accuracy from a well conditioned quality vintage mechanical?I now have my 2 Vintage pocket watches. I have been checking their accuracy for the last couple days. The 1926 Illinois (17 jewel) before a light lubing by my new friend Don at City Bank Antiques the other day, had lost 9+ minutes. Since then it is losing about 15 sec. That seems pretty good to me. The 1942 Hamilton 992B (21 jewels) that I purchased from Don is only gaining 3 sec! I think it is amazing how w
Do any owners or enthusiast have any feedback or perspectives on the original 5960 rose with grey dial. It looks so different in various pictures. I currently own the 5960p grey dial and was thinking about getting the rose version Thanks in advance
Hey guys. I am in the market for a dress watch for formal attire. I'm leaning a little more towards something with a strap such as an IWC Portuguese, but I am also open to maybe something like a datejust 41 in steel with a white or silver face. What do you guys think about my choices? What would you suggest? What's your dress watch? Thanks for your time.
Hello,I just received a Rolex Day date 118238 this morning as a gift. My question, can I go to any AD to have the bracelet sized to me, even if the watch was purchased at a different store?Thank you.
