- Purchased this as a gift for a dear friends 50th birthday. He LOVED it. The only blem arose when he went to put it on immediatly...he couldn't as several links had to be removed by his jeweler.

Emporio Armani AR1700 wrist watches news:
I believe the pictures shown below show 3 great tools.
I think that the autumn colours match the colours on my GV quite well..
A service success story! But, this one doesn't involve a RSC. Some of you may recall that I recently purchased this for my Dad After taking delivery of that one, we elected to get his first Rolex, a 12-year old (bought new) 15210 SS Date with a silver dial, serviced for the first time. It was losing about 5-7 minutes per month, so it was sorely needed. Dad, not being a WIS, wasn't bothered much and just reset the time every month. The 15210 was, and remains, my Dad's "daily driver." The President is only for special occasions. Anyway, it came back from service at a local Rolex AD with a talented in-house watchmaker. Several parts were replaced, including the mainspring, the crown tube, and the crown. There were some rotor parts replaced too, but I can't recall which ones. Anyway, the movement is very smooth when setting the time, and it has been keeping time well (for a change) It was costly, but the turnaround was just over 2 weeks, and the AD gave my Dad an Ebel Loaner Aut
I have just come across Watch-U-Want online but am finding their prices a little hard to believe. Anyone know their reputation? How do they price new Panerai watches about 25% less than the AD? Can anyone point me to some independent means of determining if a dealer is legit and trustworthy? Thanks for any help...
So i've owned a 312 in the past and enjoyed it for quite some time. When it came time to sell it, I had decided it was a little too tall for my liking. I wore it in rotation with a 000. Both were sold and i went big with a 422 and a 305. Now I'm back to wanting a 44 again and I'm considering a 233 or a 1088. I'm leaning towards the more classic look of the 233, but I'm hesitating somewhat because of the 1950's case. How different does it wear and feel on the wrist than a 312? One is manual vs automatic, domed crystal vs regular. Any opinions are welcomed... I don't want to regret a 233. The 88 has always been a favorite and the luminor case sits nicely on the writst. helppppppppppppp
