Emporio Armani 1830 wrist watches news:
Only 10 pieces of the Winter Night watch will be produced by the Swedish team Gustafsson & Sjogren. In a way this watch is the accumulation of everything they have been working toward. That being a totally Damascus steel case, dial, crown, and movement plate. You either love or hate the look of hand-folded and forged metal. While not something I would wear on a daily basis, I find Damascus steel to be beautiful. Pretty much everything in this watch is produced in-house at GoS. That include the large movement plate (the rest is not in-house), and most of what you see and touch. The hands and hour indicators on the dial are done in 18k white gold, while the steel case are lovingly hand-made as Gustafsson would make a blade. Price is $19,000. Not often enough do watch brands commit to donating a portion of profits to charity. Sure, there are auctions here and there that go towards foundations, but generally speaking it's not common enough practice. That is part of what makes the Nomos Doctors Without Borders (Medics San Frontieres) watches so exciting. This limited edition of 2,000 watches will contribute $100 per sale from the Nomos and retail end to this great charity, for a total of $200k. And this isn't a one-time deal either. Nomos has issued both German and UK variants of the watch, so the total amount being given is much higher. The other part?.. Well, simply that these are great looking watches by one of our favorite brands, and even though this is a limited edition with unique design elements they don't cost more than the regular model. The Doctors Without Borders US edition will consist of 1,000 Tangente 38's and 1,000 Tangente 33's for $2,140 and $1,840 respectively. The unique design features of this edition includ
In a secret room at Invicta Headquarters a gathering takes place around a few packages that have been addressed to them.. On the wall hangs a picture of an inspirational figure to all that contribute to the Original Invicta forum:He echoes their mantra " We never get any respect".A conversation is taking place..Let's listen in.......-banned: Stand back men...The Hamilton Boys have sent us some packages.-Revolution : Hamilton? They're not American.-markdl : What do we do now banned?- banned - I've been a cop for over 15 yrs...I need to give you guys a lesson on how to protect the hood (Invicta Forum) from trolls. First we need to identify the troll enemies....(He pulls from his briefcase 3 pictures).banned : These Rolex guys are big snoots..Revolution : Yeah look at the snoot on that guy.markdl : Let's get out of here.banned : It's a picture stupid! They always come into our hood and chizzle our wizzle or something like that..they could have sent us these packages.Revolution : Oh Boy! R
Ah, fabulous Argentina, land of creative watch re-assembly, where no original watchdial seems able to survive among the teeming redialers that turn every third rate no-brand into a Jaeger, Girard Perregaux or Ulysse Nardin. What vintage watch collector in his right mind would wade into that muck? Well *ahem* I did. And for not an inconsiderable amount of beans. Is this just proof that I really can't skip a day of my medication or will it all work out? Stay tuned....(assuming of course the box is not empty when I get it, anyone wanna guess what's coming? - if you already know, contain yehseff)
There have been (and will continue to be) many many debates about the respective merits and flaws of the older generation VS newer generation of some of PP's key products. To my mind, it is fun to debate which is better, but beyond the technical merits of the movement behind each watch, this is necessarily a subjective, inconclusive matter. No, instead I wanted to start a thread about how CASE size has now become the key determinant in **my** decisions about which watches win out in buying decisions and whether they determine what becomes a legendary watch and what doesn't. Take the debate between 5170 and 5070.I simply cannot wear the 5070. Debate ends there. It's too big for my wrists and it looks like I'm wearing my dads watch.5170 for me all day please, irrespective of other considerations. New Generation win. But strangely, because the 5070 has a huge outsized case, it has become a PP legend, despite the Lemania-based movement not being technically comparable to the PP in-house m
