Audemars Piguet 25594BA wrist watches news:
Swiss Hublot has its hands in a lot of things, ranging from sponsorships to limited edition watches that seem to celebrate other limited editions. We can't cover them all, but once in a while there is an image or story that we just have to share. It looks like Hublot is sponsoring an Exosuit for the European team that is continuing to dive and explore the region around where the Antikythera device was found. UPDATE: Hublot has (of course) released a limited edition watch called Hublot Oceanographic ref. EXO4000 731.QX.EXO14.If you recall, back in 2011 Hublot's genius designer Mathias Buttet recreated the ancient Greek calendar device into a wrist watch. I was at the official unveiling of the movement, and I have to admit that what Mathias did was really cool. Last year in 2013, Hublot released a limited edition watch inspired by the original Antikythera timepiece known as the Hublot MP-08 Antikythera SunMoon (hands-on here). Apparently, exploration work continues on the ship wreck wher
Welcome to Three On Three. It's one thing for us to give you an in-depth look at a single watch, to wear it and review it, on its own. But there are always options out there. With Three On Three we select a category, choose three watches that represent competitive takes on a theme, and compare them head-to-head. To kick things off, we went with a basic in any man's watch wardrobe, the manually-wound dress watch. Of course we had to get a little more selective, so we've picked three that all feature in-house movements for under $20,000: A. Lange & Söhne's Saxonia in pink gold, F.P. Journe's Chronomètre Bleu, and Vacheron Constantin's Patrimony Traditionnelle Small Seconds in pink gold. All three are seriously impressive entry points into true high-end watchmaking and here Benjamin Clymer, Stephen Pulvirent, and Paul Boutros dissect them side-by-side. 1 OF 52 Let's start with the set-up. For someone looking to get into real in-hou
I want to get my hands on a newer 44mm Speedy Pro automatic. These seem to be VERY difficult to find. Any ideas on where I could find one? Used or new is fine. Good AD hookup?
Doubts, doubts....but at least here I can find some good answers My collection started with three Nautiluses : 5711/1A blue, 5276A grey and 5980/1A blue. Due to my preference of sport watches, I thought it would be a natural start for PP brand. Then I added the 5070R, wanting some more dressy choices.Last year, I decided to trade the 5980/1A towards the 5960P . I thought that would be easier to get another 5980/1A later on.Given the 5960P is both Chrono and AC, since I bought it, many doubts have arisen about having 5980/1A and 5726A.But soon after, both 5980/1A and 5960P were discontinued by Patek. I have now ordered a BNIB 5167A, planned to arrive in few weeks, but just found an offer that is bugging me. It has been offered me a BNIB blue 5980/1A , and on a direct trade on my 5726A ( bought DEC2012) plus the 5167A equivalent proceedings. Now, my question for you, gentlemen, is : which would be your preference on this? Given my collection now, and the fact of discontinuation
I know it must be some thread about this beforeBut I still want some discussion here.Do you think the Vacheron Constantin style is good ? (IMHO it is seem more modern then Patek classic style ) I think it aim to different target customer to Patek. And do you think it is underrated? Because most Vacheron's pieces price is much lower than Patek's one.If you grade the Patek 10, what will you grade the Vacheron ?
