Woke up this morning and remembered my dreamDoesnt happen very often. LOLI dreamed I was posting right here on WTF pics of my new speedmaster.Now is this a sign? I guess it's from all the speedmasters pictures we see around hereOn a side note, I blame: Jake, David and none other than Jim!!!!So let's start digging!I have a cute bonus from work coming shorty because I'm finishing the year as the 3rd best on 236 employees!What am I expected to pay for a speedy pre-loved? I still dont know if I want it auto or manual, crystal or plexiAll I know is that I want the full size and ideally not on bracelet as I would get that perf strap to go with it and I know I wouldnt go for the day/date. Breitling Bentley GMT vs. JLC Reverso Squadro GMT
Can anyone weigh in on what they think of both of these beautiful watches?I like the Breitling. It's big, masculine lines and great face. But with Jaeger lecoultre Reverso within the same price range, I can't decide. Help sway me one way or the other. The JLC has more of a wow factor with the reversible exhibition back and amazing craftsmanship. Looking at both in stainless steel strap.

Project Watch Club - The Hamilton Brent
You may have seen my recent post about a watch I refinished for my boss (Hamilton Paige). As mentioned in that post, it was a lot of fun to see a neglected and non-working watch turn into something special. Also noted in that post was another project watch completed at the same time - a Hamilton Brent-B (1952).It is no secret, I am a Hamilton guy. I like the modern Hamiltons and have my share. My interest in the vintage Hamiltons is growing. I am trying to pace myself and find a particular interest, not just "old Hamilton" watches. Hey guys, Considering my first "high end (for me)" watch purchase. Got it narrowed down to pretty much two choices. They are:Revue Thommen Airspeed XL, eta 2834Ball Fireman II (green), eta 2824-2Both are approx $1000usd. Just looking for some general feedback. Any preference on the movements? Any other watches you'd consider in the same price range? Which watch gives the most bang for the buck in your opinion?
