IWC IW371404 wrist watches news:
This is probably the nicest Daniel Roth watch I know of, which is saying a lot since Daniel Roth watches are usually REALLY NICE. No, it isn't the fanciest, or most complex watch - and to a large degree the watch is a total contradiction. For example, the name "Chronosprint" makes you think of measuring quick short times, when in reality, it is just the opposite with this self described chronograph for measuring longer measurements of time (because it does not count the seconds). Only hours and minutes are measures in the subsidiary dial with two hands that replicates the chronograph look of some modern Patek Philippe chronograph watches, along with a few other makes. The dial that looks like a smaller watch face has one hand to measure minutes (60), and another to measure hours (12). Daniel Roth describes this complication as a ¡°simple but effective¡± feature of the watch. The movement is exclusive to this Endurer Chronosprint, and is the DR 1306 automatic mechanical calibre. I got this a little while ago and took pics then misplaced the USB thumb drive they were on. Remembered about the pics when I found the memory stick. So, anyway, here's an Eterna Super Kontiki chronograph, circa end of the Millennium. A little scuffed up, but $30 or so will refinish it to look like new and I got it at a great price because of the superficial marks. The thing itself is built like a tank and weighs as much! It's only 39-40mm, but it's thick and massive as is the bracelet.
.you look at your watch during the day? If not, try forgetting to put one on and go to work. I left mine at home today and must have glanced at my wrist at least 2 dozen times only to see skin & hair staring back at me. Anybody else forget their watch and feel like the day is just ruined?
Estatic, NIB for a great discount. Tournau has offered a 3 year warranty that covers any damage I inflict, replacement of bands due to wear, sweat, etc. and cover a complete servicing. This is over an above the manufacturer warranty that only covers internal defects. Based on the cost of a band and a full service, the 500 seems like a no brainier to me. Any comments or past experiences they can share with me?
Can the bracelet on a Sky Dweller model number 326934 have white gold in it? The Rolex website indicates it is steel, but I was wondering perhaps about previous years? A seller is trying to tell me the bracelet is a combination of steel and white gold, but I can't find such a combination anywhere on the internet.
