Why would you pay for the new Explorer II? What do you think is a fair/realistic retail price?I keep hearing from Canadian AD's somewhere between $7500 and $8000 CAN. My GMTIIc was retailing at $8140 CAN so I hope not.I read another post somewhere that is the Exp II comes in at that range, the Daytona may be another option at two grand more.

I recently purchased a new 214270 Explorer 1. They AD offered me a great deal if I bought two watches at once, and I ended up putting a deposit on a No Date Sub 114060. I¡¯m having a little buyers remorse as I¡¯ve done very little research on the 114060, and was hoping for some assistance from the Rolex experts. Question:If you were to pair the Explorer 1 with another Rolex watch, which would it be?Some info about me:I¡¯m 34 years oldMy wrists are about 6.5¡±-6.75¡±I never wear a suit (work-button up shirt and slacks, home-jeans with T-shirt/polo)I also own a Seiko Sarx033 and Oris AquisMy budget is flexible but around $8-9k.
