Vacation Blowback
In addition to my sea urchin injury, there was more 'blow back' from my Maui/Oahu vacation. I picked up a couple new horological wonders while running around. One of them just arrived today. It had to go to California to be serviced and overhauled first.Here are some pics of that one:I've always wanted this particular watch because I love the straight-forward look and comfort of the Date/Just, but I wanted just a little more bling than the standard plain applied indicies model. I think this watch is a good example of the use of diamonds on a man's watch. The other reason I wanted this one was because I have a fake model that I bought in NYC for $30 bucks - seen here:It is wonderful to compare them to get a real insight into the fake realm. David Yurman watches
Hi there. Do any of you folks own a David Yurman watch? I became aware of the David Yurman brand (high end jewellery design) on trips to the US and swanky shopping malls a few years ago. The watches were too expensive for me then. I checked out the website today, just out of curiosity, and noticed that the cheapest men's watch today is around $3400. They have Swiss ETA movements, but don't specify exactly what type of movement for each model. So I'm just wondering how good they are. Any thoughts?

Many years ago an Audi sport coupe had gone on sale. I think it was the TT and a used car dealer offered it at 37,000 dollars.
