Piaget GOA33052 wrist watches news:
The first 10 lots of the Spectre auction were offered yesterday, and altogether, they brought almost $4 million – which is great news since all the proceeds went to charity. Our eyes were obviously set on the Prototype Seamaster worn by Daniel Craig, and it blew well past the initial estimate of £15,000 - £20,000 ($21,375–$28,500) reaching over $130,000. And I am sure that you are also wondering who took home his Aston DB10. Well, I fear I can't answer that, but the battle for this incredible car was fierce, and stopped near the $3.5 million mark, again a solid multiple over the estimates. And the Spectre auction is not finished yet, as some 14 additional lots from the movie are still available for online bidding. Prototype Omega Seamaster 300 Worn By Daniel Craig ¨C Sold For $132,000 1 OF 4 As we mentioned in our previous article here, this Seamaster 300 is one step beyond the Spectre Limited edition, as it is actually one of the eight p
OK ive come across a AP ROO Volcano 2010....Now ive been on the look for a AP for a while and the volcano is def not my first choice i have found one for what i think to be a good price ($8500usd)Ive got 3 rolexs, omega and a panerai so i want to step it up... my concern is what is the resale on them if i choose that its not for me? and is there anything that i should look out for specifically?I can see what guys are asking for them on Chrono 24 but i take alot of that with a grain of salt, like anything what people ask and what they get are usually two different things and just because thats what they are asking doesnt mean they are worth it.I have bought watches previously and paid a premium and then decided that im over it and lost a bucket load of money because the market has fallen out on them(Breitling ,Uboat,Oris etc...)Opinions??pic for reference
I'm seriously considering an Emergency but I'm concerned about the robustness of it for use in the field.I'm not a fan of the is it safe to wear my watch threads but I have some genuine concerns and wonder what you guys think.I know that the Emergency was designed as a pilots/aircrew watch to transmit a distress signal on the civil aviation frequency. As such I guess it was designed to be tough enough to survive a crash which it's owner could survive but my worry is that I would use it primarily for mountaineering and, as such, would subject it to much more constant, sustained abuse.Do you think it could take the constant knocks? I mean that both in respect of it functioning as a watch and as a transmitter.I know the vast majority of these things are bought by people who would never conceivably need the transmitter but it is the ONLY reason I'm considering one. I know I could buy a better stand-alone transmitter and carry it with me (and that may be the option I end up going for) but I
Guys looking for an opinion.Current Patek collection consists of 5712 steel and 5167 steel on rubber. I really love how the 5320 looks in pictures and look forward to seeing it in person. I very much would also like to diversify my collection with more complicated Patek watch with leather strap. My question is can this watch be worn with casual South Florida attire? i.e. shorts/Polo shirt or would I be better off with rose gold precious metal like 5164r or 5980rThanks in advance!John
In macroeconomics in college, they teach about supply and demand. As a business, it is your duty to find what is called equilibrium so that your production and demand are such that there is not an over supply which will reduce market value and that you are able to supply enough to meet the market demand so that interest doesn't fade.If one had to choose the best side (lesser of two evils), it is better for a luxury brand to err on the side of reducing supply. You are also taught that if you build something (let's say watches), and those watches cost X amount and your operating costs are Y amount, then if you build one watch, you need to sell that watch for the production cost plus the operating costs plus build in a margin. If you don't do it that way, then you will lose money and your business model will fail.Knowing these things, it is my opinion that due to the recent years reports about Swiss Watch exports trending downward and Richemont and Swatch Group buying back inventory, that
