The C1 was a case of 44 mm with a very rugged look. The rubber under the monitoring allows to absorb shocks and make shows more robust. There is a Sapphire thick 3.30 mm and a Crown of rubber, composite and steel. It has a Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute.

GMTIIc * good price or not?
HelloI am a new member of this forum and searching for first rolex. I work over seas and stopping in Dubai enroute to states. I am in Dubai every two - three months. last trip back to work I talked with a man named Farsi at Seddiqi and Sons. He quoted me a price of 5800.00 US. He assured me the watch was new. I dont have the best internet where I work. I am only trying to find out if this is a reasonable price for a V series 116710. I will be in Dubai on the 9th and leaving the 10th. Any Information regarding price and or best place to get in or out of Dubai would be much appreciated.

New to the Forum New Omega
Hello:New here. I found good information on this forum. Thank you. I have had a Rolex Sub for 15 years. Wear it every day. Last week, I bought my son an Omega PO big on the black strap for Christmas. It was a special gift for a special milestone. I don't typically give gifts like that. Anyway; shopping for this watch, which he had specified he wanted, I got very interested in Omegas. AlanYou guessed. I bought myself one today. It's a PO 45mm Chrono on bracelet. I really like it. It's definitely a different look than the sub, which makes it easier for me to justify! Anyway; thanks. Look forward to sharing information and stories.

Need help with a Vintage Marine Chronometer - no joy posting in the Omega Forum
We found an Omega Marine Chronometer in going through my Father-in-Law¡¯s things this weekend. He is a veteran of the Coast guard and is in a nursing home now. As you can see in the attached picture, he has replaced the original band and the gold serial number plate as been lost. It is not running, but the housing does not appear to be compromised or damaged.I would appreciate any thoughts on the following before I send it in to Omega,¡­1) Can it be fully restored?2) How much (approx.) it would cost ¨C for the band, serial number plate, possibly crystal and bezel?3) Anyone know where to find an original (model 1200?) band? Have struck out online.3) Estimated value (both before and after restoration).I understand that it's a somewhat rare and special watch, I would just like some more information and an idea of it¡¯s true value before we start the process. Hello to board, have recently seen a round Jules Audemars, black dial, with a railroad track around the outer edge..A beautiful watch. I have been having difficulty finding some information about this watch. Any input would be appreciated.Thanks in advance Peter
