A Chance Encounter
I have not been on this forum for a very long time, mainly because I have been pursuing a new passion, handguns. Well today I was in my local gun shop looking for a pistol. As the salesman was getting one out of the display case I noticed that he was wearing an Omega 2254.50. Well the conversation quickly turned to watches. We exchanged watches to admire each other's watch (I were my 2255.80 every day). I must say that I had a fine time today at the gun shop.No, I didn't buy a Walther PPK or a Beretta 418. Bracelet fix
At work the other day I noticed a pin in my Oris bracelet coming out. I pushed it back in and then took to local watchmaker. He fixed and checked others. Said there were 3 others that needed work and took care of them. My Oris is a daily wear and I post this as a cautionary tale.A disaster was averted, I guess it's best to check these things out periodically if getting heavy use.Merry Christmas all.
