I am still counting up the times Burberry uses the terms "heritage, tradition(al), craftsmanship, innovative," and other similar adjectives brands commonly use when describing their new creations. In fact, most of the Burberry Britain watch press release is actually just a list of adjectives. Even when they describe the timepiece itself they use mostly adjectives to describe it. Consider me impressed - this document ought to receive some type of award for its incredibly elegant lack of substance (however it does have a fully operational set of tech specs). Saw these on the shopping channel last night (TIVOd). They had some nice looking pieces at "too good to be true" prices. Swiss Rondo movements, real saphire crystals, Swiss chrono. Most "retailed" for between $450 and $600, from what I remember, and were selling for less than $200. Anybody familiar with this brand?

How upset should I be?

Turns out my wife (who has to have a water/shock/dust proof camera of her own after destroying 3 of mine) "borrowed" it while I was gone on my last trip. Got a call for a new 116610LV
I spent the last week going to ADs looking/begging for a hulk but no luck. Today I received a call from a jewelry store that had one just in from a customer for $10,660 ....My options:1- buy it for a premium. 2- wait for my AD to call in 2 weeks for $9,460. 3- wait for the new year maybe prices will go down?The problem is that I¡¯m on 3 lists already, and I don¡¯t know if I will receive one yet especially if I let this one go to another guy. What if I pay they premium ($1,300) only to receive a call a couple of days later Appreciate your input
