Jaeger LeCoultre 176.24.60 (Q1762460) (Q1762470) wrist watches news:
Thought I would share my meager collection as a new watch collector. I have learned quite a bit from you guys and would like to take the time to wish each and everyone of you a VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY, AND A VERY BLESSED HAPPY NEW YEAR. May good fortune and blessings abound find all of you at the end of this year and the beginning of the next.:
I'd like a nice summer watch on a white rubber strap. But I HATE all the normal options!! NO Divers, at all! Lol.How do you guys think a Volcano would look on white rubber?Any photos??! Thanks
This watch was purchased new by my grandfather (maybe early 60s?). Until last week, it has been sitting in a safe for many many years. It still runs but I have no idea what model/series/year, etc. Only marking on it is a small '14k' on the back of the case. Can anyone help me identify it? I am pretty confident that's a one of a kind, vintage Omega grail worth more than a house! Thanks in advance for any help or insights. Sorry the pic isnt the greatest. Hoping to post better ones soon.
I am in the market for a blue dial watch. Have been looking at omega, IWC but the new 688 has also caught my eye. I am not that keen though on the band, prefer a black band. I know I can replace the band but are there older models that would fit this bill?Panerai-Luminor-1950-3-Days-GMT-Automatic-PAM00688.jpg
I am curious how many on here have bought a watch specifically to sell it right away and make a profit. I do not mean you traded in a watch for less than you paid for cash or for less than you paid towards trade. There is all this talk about people buying a hot model just to sell it instantly but I have never met anyone who has done it. My AD offered me a Daytona and a white steel sky dweller. When I passed I got the look of thanks for not buying to flip.Anyone here buy an ss for the purpose of instantly flipping at profit?
