Ebel 1216028 wrist watches news:
Inspired by a well respected member of the Dutch Rolex Forum I would like to start this thread.By now I have collected 5 Rolex watches and needless to say that I am more than happy with them. But every time I open my watchbox I get this restless feeling inside...what watch do I wear today? In the morning I pick one for wearing that day and right after I close the vault I start thinking that maybe that other one should get some wrist instead...And then the vault opens again..So here the question for you all..Do you want/need to switch watches once or twice a day or do you want that big grail we are all after?A Panda Daytona or a DDSD..What are your thoughts on this one?
Can anyone I.D. this one? The seller thought it from the 60s but I went thru the 'mod & cat sticky' twice and didn't see it. I think it's more likely early to mid 70s. But I don't really know so here I am.case number is P809842Hamilton 771 movement
I got this pricey little clock yesterday:It at least came with this cool metal carrying case:More here:watchtalkforums.info/foru...htm#post501976
I have been a big fan of Audemars Piguet for as long as I am a WIS. Every time I was in NYC, which is pretty often when my gf attended dental school in Manhattan, I would visit Wempe and the AP Boutique. I didn't expect to be an AP owner this soon, but here she is!
Why are AP's ridiculously more expensive than Rolex?? Is it the hip hop/celebrity status that has made AP what it is? Will the popularity of AP drop? I'll always be a Rolex man, but when I was in Vegas last weekend. I couldn't believe the prices at the AP store in the Crystal's mall.
