Couldn't help myself - something for the Sisters and Brothers thread....1969 14K solid gold Liberty Coin watch; 22 jewel 770 movement.
I'm looking to replace my ten year old aviation chronograph with a diver, and based on my reading here, almost certainly a Seiko. I'd consider Invicta, but there seem to be enough horror stories that I'm a bit reluctant. Budget is simple- as inexpensive as possible, but that does not necessarily mean cheap. If you knew me you'd know that I'm not into image, but I know what I like and that's all that I care about in this case. I do like timeless- hence the diver.I really want an Omega Speedmaster, but that's never gonna happen. I don't care if it was Neil Armstrong's actual watch! Then again, my wife is wearing a $13k engagement ring...What's a nice diver to get with a stainless band? I'd love one that I'll need shades to read in the dark- as has been indicated elsewhere on this forum.I'm replacing a Chase Durer that my wife bought me 10 years ago. It has a Seiko works, but nothing returns to zero anymore and the night lighting is anemic at best. It does keep pretty good time. Just time
Wow gorgeous watch just not my cup of tea Stunning piece i came across today quite a rare bird i believe

With all the talk about Rolex SS model shortage's, I wonder what is the percentage of all SS watches sold by Rolex in comparison to all other metals and combination of metals combined? My guess would be about 40%.
