2010 saw a strong recovery in Swiss watch exports following the significant downturn recorded in 2009. The sector exported the equivalent of 16.2 billion francs or 2.9 billion more than the previous year. Hello everyone I am new to this forum, and I would like to know if anyone out there has an interest in MuDu watches. My grandfather left me one when he passed away, and it is a nice timepiece. I had it cleaned and it appealed to me so much that I have acquired a couple more. The brand has a strange history as far as I can tell, being basically smuggled in to the UK through Bristol docks in the 1950s/60s apparently to avoid import duties. The story is that they were produced "out of hours" in the Blancpain factory from spare parts by employees looking to make a profit. There are a few around, I think rather undervalued, although many are in poor condition. Interestingly, I have never seen two the same!I would love to hear of anyone who owns one or who could add to this story I will get around to posting pics of mine some time soon.Best regards and enjoy your timepieces all.

A Tourbillon as a car on board clock ?!?
Displayed at Frankfurt motorshow the new Bentley Bentayga can be fitted (as a 170.000$ option) with a Breitling Tourbillon.As it is an automatic movement, it is fitted in an automatic watch winder !That's the ultimate WIS car I guess...The true question then becomes, what are you going to wear on your wrist if your dash clock is worth 170.000$ ?!?

2254.50 New old Stock (hard to find?)
I see I just missed one on TRF. Does anyone know how hard a NOS 2254.50 is to come by? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I searched here and WUS and couldn't find anything recent about it...Also, any owners on here have the OEM Rubber fitted to share their thoughts on comfort? I have the newer stitched rubber and depoylant and love it in the pool and shower and hot days. Curious if the other rubber strap with tang buckle is just as comfy or more comfy. Thanks!
